Tumblr: The Beginning, The Journey, and The Philosophy
I started my Tumblr in August out of pure curiosity. I was also fed up with Facebook and many of the boring, attention seeking, or desperate “friends” I had on it. I wanted a place where I could be myself and create somewhat of an alter ego.
My philosophy about my Tumblr has always been and will always be, that it is an extension of my personality. Everything that you see on my Tumblr is a part of me: the pictures, the music, the background, my banner, the text, even the promotions. They all say something about who I am. It all gives you a scope as to who Tamar is.
I’m not sure what impressions my followers get about my Tumblr, but I do know who I am and who I want to be. I use my Tumblr to reflect my personality and also as a documentation. I have an end goal for myself when it comes to my personality. I seek to emulate the characteristics I find fascinating others. I want to make it a part of me. The documentation is simply a way for me to see and keep track of my goal.
If you’ve managed to read all of this, thank you.
